Perfect for my 99 f350, fixed my problem where my thermal air conditioner was only running at high speed. Now I have all 4 speed settings.

I had problems with the front fan motor on my 2000 Ford. Easy to install under the hood firewall. I didn't end up needing the braid, but I threw it in truck parts in case I ever needed it. Not sure if that or replacing the fan motor was the real fix, but in the middle of winter I think replace the $20 part just in case.

If you only have one or two fan speeds in your Ford truck, this will solve your problem. Spend a few bucks more on this one as it includes a wire harness as these trucks are synonymous with having the wire harness connector permanently attached to the old fan motor resistor. Oh, if you keep going through those resistors it means your fan motor is bad and not spinning freely.

Contrary to what it says in the "Will it fit your car" section, it fits my 2001 Ford E350 Super Duty CNG. Installed it along with a new fan, both work great. Revain should edit its vehicle customization data.

Has been working for about a month. The only thing that confuses me is that each setting seems to blow a little less than the factory setting, it seems to be half a resistor and half a new fan motor because when I disabled the resistor the fan was more powerful.

Fixed fan speed issue on our 2003 F-350 Super Duty. The Revain description doesn't specifically say it fits this model, but if you look it up on the Dorman website, it does and you had no trouble installing it. The fan motor only runs at high speed and this is a typical cause of this problem.

Purchased to replace the stock fan resistor on my 2000 Ford E150 Van. With my van, I had to remove the battery and battery compartment from the car to replace mine. This fan motor resistor comes with a replaceable wire harness which is fine for my application although I have not used it yet. Trust me I understand why they give you one with the kit.
