UPDATE - Got a replacement to ensure my unit is not defective. The fan is still noisy, about the same noisy, very annoying. I still didn't maintain the temperature, kept the temperature at 68 degrees, but after about 2 hours the room was almost 80 degrees. I called their support and they confirmed that the heater turns on EVERY 5 minutes, it runs for about 30 seconds while trying to sense the temp and if it's over the set temp it turns off.
