Great little set. I use it in jewelry to remove slag or add texture or pattern. With all the investment I've found countless uses for it. Easy to change tips with my Dremel tool. Packaged in a hard plastic case that keeps the tips organized and includes descriptions of what each tip can do. Great sentence!

A product that lets you know it's good, but the price is often hard to swallow compared to a billion clones and competitors. But there's no doubting the higher level of quality in almost every way imaginable when you buy genuine Dremel bits and tools over the competition. So I'm deducting a star for that reason alone. Everything else in this set and these beats is excellent!

I use Dremel bits to make custom metalworking tools and carve gemstones. Silicon carbide discs work well for shaping metal and stone, and I use thin diamond coated burrs for curves in tool steel and other small jobs. I bought this set because Dremel bits are quality I can rely on to get the results I need. Bought separately these bits would cost me over $50; There is no downside here.

Given Dremel's limitations, these tools are probably just as good as Dremel's. I'm interested in the wood carvings - they seem to work well enough, but are small enough that it takes time to do everything. They really need to be placed in a flexible extension so you can hold the end like a handle - I really don't want to carry the weight of a dremel in my hand and try to use a precise handle to actually use them.
