The gun works great and the stitching is very strong should last but the rivets that are included are better suited to children's ears which we used. These stud earrings were worn by several adults in my family and they were so tight and uncomfortable that after the earlobe swelled there was no room left, I had to purchase additional stud earrings from another adult-focused seller. they were longer, not so tight. Arrived very quickly and yes I recommend but might be worth buying other stallions

Excellent lancing device. It is easy to clean and use. I was able to get both of my daughters pierced for the price of a one-time visit to Claire's, and I got one of my daughters pierced twice. It's very simple and cleaner. I definitely recommend doing it this way rather than paying some random 16 year old to do it if you can't guarantee they'll clean their guns. So much more hygienic. The piercing gun works easily. The first pair of earrings (that came with the kit) I tried, the earring fell out of the gun before I could get it on my ear. I finally put that set aside and tried another set (note I'm using the correct size earring adapter) and this one held in place. I used it to pierce cartilage. Great kit. My advice: watch the instructional videos on the studex website. Take a syringe and fill it with salt water (I just dissolve the salt in boiling water and let it cool) and rinse and wiggle the piercing (over a cup or over a sink) several times a day.
