Review on πŸ’Ž Ultimate Ear Piercing Set by Jim Bodnarchek

Practice round earrings, use

Great kit. My advice: watch the instructional videos on the studex website. Take a syringe and fill it with salt water (I just dissolve the salt in boiling water and let it cool) and rinse and wiggle the piercing (over a cup or over a sink) several times a day. I was lucky with that. You will get salt deposits but it can be cleared. 2 months no swimming. CONVENIENTLY draw a few dots on the card and just reuse an earring when practicing. Mine is very consistent but a little lower than I expected. Use a round Studex to pierce. The rivets will fall out of the gun when tipped, so consider piercing with rounded rivets and then switch to shaped rivets. Consider giving young children ibprofen first, or prepare to make them wait a day to take a second. Older children can do without painkillers. Pros: Quality surgical steel earrings (they heal best, trust me) in case someone gets lost (they close tight, but we grabbed one). Constant goal, never gets stuck. Consmin penetrates about 1 mm deeper, BUT SIMULTANEOUSLY AND PREDICTIVELY. Not a fan of post piercing gel care. Dries like a film that needs to be peeled off. I wish it was all surgical steel and not gold plated as gold is softer and more prone to scratches which presumably could be a home for bacteria. In general, it's easy, and remember that some babies cry when they're done professionally and some don't, and even piercings done at the mall or tattoo parlor can get infected (sooo many stories). It's an open wound, so take care of it. If it gets caught on a shirt or hairbrush, you may get some blood. I've done 4 so far (2 mine, 2 neighbors) with no major issues and we saved a lot of money and had no major issues. Just a girl who went swimming and we had to take the earring out and clean it several times (I used liquid silver) because it started to look infected and in the end her gold was exchanged for a surgical steal and she healed quickly.
