Easily Slip-On Shoes With Curly No-Tie Elastic Laces From FOOTMATTERS Review

I hate bending over to put on my shoes, tie my shoes so these are wonderful when it comes to ease of shedding shoes. I use them in my Taos Moc Star shoes, and its wonderful that they don't use all the grommets because they are more comfortable that way and its easier to put on and take off.

I like tie less items. Haven't had them long enough to rate durability and ease of use. That will come later. May not be suitable for formal occasions.

I bought these when they came out in the late 90's. They were great then and still are! I bought the mixed package because I use them like velcro strips to hold wiring together etc.Great buy, versatile.

I only put somewhat large because my 1.5 yr old daughter wears a size 7 shoe, but it works well for her. She just grabs the ends and plays with it. I wish there was a little bit smaller size.A lot of the reviews I read before I bought them said they fell apart and things like that. well, yeah they’re meant for little kids who don’t know how to tie their shoes yet.So for my daughter they work great! I’ll probably get her another pair when we get her another pair of shoes also!

I was ready to throw my tennis shoes away because the laces always came undone and I would trip over them. A friend told me about the curly laces. I didn't even have to make a knot, just twisted them together and they don't flop all over.

I use these curly ties for visors, across the back of my head and can tighten or loosen as needed. They work great! Not as versatile as other shoe options.

I use these for my 91 year old moms athletic shoes for physical therapy. Very pleased, as they do a great job of keeping the shoes on without having to tie them. I'm ordering couple pairs for mine too.

These are so easy to use just place them through each section of your shoes. Set to the tightness you like and they're ready to go. Even kids could do this easily.

It did not fit her sketchers "eye holes" in her shoes. Not sure if its just her shoes or the actual Shoe strings. I will hang onto these though as she will soon outgrow these Sketchers and require new shoes, and hopefully these lace will fit her new shoes. I plan to take the laces with me when buying her next pair to double check. The laces are very stretchy, fun, and durable though.now if I can get them to fit her shoes :)

I had a pair of laces like these years and years ago that I purchased at a local street fair. Haven't seen them since. I was wishing I had a pair for some tennis shoes and on a whim decided to check on Revain. Low and behold there they were! I love being able to just slip my shoe on (with a little assist of my hand) without needing to tie the laces.

I was looking for replacement stretchy string for my visors. Since these are shoe strings they are too long for what I needed.

The cord on my still wearable visor stretched beyond its life rendering my visor useless. This corded shoe lace, while a little longer than I need, is the perfect fix.

I was hopeful when another reviewer mentioned using these in her boots that these might be the curly laces I am looking for, But, these FootMatters laces would not even fit my running shoes, much less my boots. A few years ago, I found some far more robust curly laces as they are in some mid-level hiking boots that I still wear today. I do wish I had saved the packaging. Need to keep looking. . .

The shoelaces were somewhat hard to get into the shoes, but once they were in they worked liked I wanted them to. My grandson is 12yrs old and has cerebral palsy. He has trouble tying his shoes because he has limited uses of his hands.

turns out they make my shoes really tight on my foot so because of that I don't wear them as often as I would like to. I will keep working on them.

Got these for Nana's sneakers so she can slip them on and doesn't have to tie them (she's early 90's). Took a very short learning curve to install for perfect fit/tension adjustment. I now get the theory behind this mobility appliance or lazy enabler for others. Time will tell about the longevity/quality of said device.
