The adhesive on all heatsinks had bumps or bubbles that reduced the contact area, resulting in poor thermal conductivity. One of them (seen in the photo) looked very damaged and different from the others. The glue had lost its stickiness and was really messed up as shown in the picture.

I had an issue with one of the stepper motors getting hot and skipping so I bought these to cool it down. These heatsinks come with 3M thermal tape so all you have to do is peel and stick the backing. It's held up well so far and I've paired it with a 50x15 fan which now cools the stepper motor easily. The size is in the specifications so make sure you like what you see b4 when you order. Then it fits what you imagine. I use it for 50 amp bridge rectifiers. When operating at 10 amps in a motorcycle application and the wind blows on them, active radiator cooling is not required. Just passive. The thermal paste holds up great. I bought two sets of these heatsinks to use with some power supplies. This makes them unusually hot. They work great for dissipating heat away from the brick, I can tell just by touching them. I installed the bricks upside down under my desk along with the radiators. I would say they hold up very well if they can hold upside down. If I ever need more, I know where to get them.
