Overhyped and Underwhelming Brake Upgrade

I was expecting automotive-grade performance from these brakes but was sorely disappointed. While there was a slight improvement in stopping power, it was definitely not worth the price tag. Additionally, the amount of brake dust they produced was unacceptable. .

The brakes cool down very quickly after heavy braking

These brakes are phenomenal, especially when paired with Yellowstuff EBC pads. The brakes cool down very quickly after heavy braking. They are 6 pounds lighter than stock OEM rotors, so I lost 24 pounds of unsprung weight on the wheels. If you're going to say there's a downside, the rotors are smaller than stock so they don't look as menacing as you'd like, but stopping power is incredible. The modulation is great. We recommend these brakes and their EBC Brakes GD7612 Rotor Kit.
