Just not what I hoped

Very cool that it can take the jacket off NM cable, but just found the wire stripping hard to dial in and worried about abrasion on the unstripped prob of the wire.

Pros
  • CRIMP size markings are slightly hard to interpret. Works fine.
Cons
  • May require special adapters for certain wire gauges

My Favorite Wire Strippers

I have numerous wire strippers and these are by far my favorite. This includes an expensive set of Snapon automatic wire strippers. These work better than the Snapons at a fraction of the price.

Pros
  • Been stripping electrical wires for years, I’ve been doing it wrong. This tool is awesome
Cons
  • May be noisy during operation

Removes test lead wire insulation

It works 20 times better than the one recently stolen from me. Who ever did that did me a favor. The handle has a nice feel to it. Definitely worth the money

Pros
  • Honestly pretty easy to use good Quality for the price!.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all types of wire insulation

Hubby Loved Them! good for me

His request as a birthday gift was well received. One for home and one for his hobby location. Happy guy! Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • Potential for the machine to overheat or burn out

Great tool for my opinion

It is a single stop tool. One single tool that can strip and pull the jacket off of a wire/cable. I normally do CAT6 and 7 wire installation and that has been amazing to me. Instead of using two tools and a lot of gymnastics to get the jacket off this gizmo does it all in one single motion. Saved me time and frustration. I am very pleased.

Pros
  • It's quick and easy to set up, so you can start using the KAIWEETS Automatic Stripper right out of the box
Cons
  • Potential for the machine to jam or get stuck

Doesn't seem to work with cotton braided wire.

Just received tool and first try with cotton braided wire was disappointing.Seems to work fine on regular plastic coated wire.

Pros
  • Wish I would have had these yrs ago
Cons
  • Needs regular maintenance and cleaning

Great product only one drawback for me.

These wire strippers worked as described. The only drawback for me is the size. They are a bit on the bulky size and doesn't fit well in my tool pouch. But other than that, it's a cool tool.

Pros
  • It is easy to use. Also includes setting for correct amount of insulation to remove.
Cons
  • Does not inherently protect against electrical shock

So much faster, better and easier to use than my old, traditional, been-around-forever, Wire Stripper! No need to figure out what size wire you want to strip . just place the wire in its groove and squeeze!

Pros
  • The ergonomic design of the KAIWEETS Automatic Stripper ensures long-lasting comfort even during extended use
Cons
  • May not work well with wire connectors made of certain materials

Great tool! best in my review

This tool makes stripping wire a pleasure. Works great. Better than dikes or other strippers especially for braided cable.

Pros
  • It does what it is supposed to
Cons
  • Cannot strip wires longer than a certain length

A Time Saver on my review.

I do a few electronics projects a year, not to mention the around the home projects, that require stripping a lot of wires. I saw a similar pair being used online somewhere and figured, why not give it a try. I've got to say, I wish I had known about these earlier. They make any project I have a lot less time consuming. I could easily strip 4 to 5 wires in the time it would take me to strip one wire with a standard pair of wire strippers. There's a simple depth stop for how much you want to…

Pros
  • Just as good as the name brands.
Cons
  • Can only strip a limited number of wires at once

Easy wire prep. for my opinion

I'm use to stripping wires using the pliers type strippers. These are a breeze to use and don't nick the wires. Requires a stable work surface for effective use!

Pros
  • Hand Tools
Cons
  • Requires a stable work surface for effective use

Sturdy and Accurate

I purchased the wire stripper primarily for speaker wires. I tested the product with 14 and 16 guage wire and was pleasantly surprised to strip those wires without cutting any of the strands. My previous stripper was the standard version with the various guages marked along the jaws. I've had a difficult time stripping wires without cutting into them. There are many similar wire strippers far more expensive than this one. However, this wire stripper felt sturdy and well-made and worked properly…

Pros
  • heavy duty for sure, a well built quality tool
Cons
  • Requires training to use safely and effectively

Good quality good for me

The only thing I would change on these is the backstop for the length of the strip. It is a bit flimsy and slips out of place too easy. Other than that these are good quality for low to medium use strippers.

Pros
  • For the occasional project, absolutely love these strippers.
Cons
  • Limited range of wire gauges

Best Wire Stripper I Ever Used!

Makes stripping wires or cables a breeze. Easy to use and never cuts through the wire. Best wire strippers I ever used! Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • Ease of use.
Cons
  • Not suitable for delicate electronics

It slips on some wire. Not so easy to use

I saw a YouTube video that said this was the best thing since sliced bread. Well, it's not, at least this brand. It slips off the jacket/insulation on wire multiple times, so I had to go back to my old wire stripper.

Pros
  • They don’t strip as well as they should also the crumpets don’t crimp well
Cons
  • Requires a set-up period before use

Works just fine best in my review

I used to use something similar in the military, and for some reason after getting out I never got one for myself. I was recently doing yet another ceiling fan (I change them frequently looking for ones I like better) and wished I had something like this to make it easier to strip the wires when I cut them shorter from the ceiling, up on a ladder.Solid, and so far each gauge I tried it with worked just fine. Going to really be glad I have this now anytime I'm doing pretty much anything around…

Pros
  • Package Include
Cons
  • Cannot strip twisted or braided wires

Easy to remove just the right amount of insulation

This tool does a good job of removing insulation without damaging the wire. It also has good cutting and crimping tools.

Pros
  • Great product, price and service.
Cons
  • Requires electricity to operate

"All-in-One " tool: my feedback

Ease of use and its an "all in one tool. The Tool can handle a wide variety of wire sizes (from 10ga Romex to 24ga electronic signal wire. The aid description is accurate and the stripper will not work on larger wire gauges like 8ga or on large round bundle wire. The jaws wont open further than the thickness of the Romex. In case you need that function.

Pros
  • Going to keep it short and sweet, get this and don't think about buying any other type of stripper!!!
Cons
  • May damage wires during the stripping process
