Well Made: Heavy duty extruded aluminum construction, Professional sandblast/matte anodized finish. Built-in slots/grooves are for holding PCB or circuit boards. The sliding cover design allows the top part of the extrusion slides smoothly, easy to mount parts or components inside. Excellent electromagnetic shielding performance, good heat dissipation performance. Color:Silver; External dimension:3.94 x 3.94 x 1.97 inch (LHW), interior dimensions:3.94 x 3.41 x 1.79 inch (LWH).

Amazingly functional.

I was pleasantly surprised that the case slides out smoothly 2 times when the ends have been removed to allow easy access to the parts I installed inside. Sliding profiles fit perfectly.

This is exactly what you would expect from photos. This is the perfect case size if you have tall components and also want to keep the board size within 10cm x 10cm to get really cheap boards from China.

Well shaped and finished case

Ideal for smaller projects where a plastic case isn't practical (EMR issues etc). The material is easy to drill. Someone mentioned that a standard size PCB - 94.8mm - would fit in the internal grooves - and this is done with some filing on the edges of the board - but it wasn't easy to find such boards in the US. In Newark (Farnell from UK) they are.

The 94.8mm x 100mm isolation board is inserted into the main board slot. Decent simple project case.

Yup. 94.8mm x 100mm for the board outline that fits into the PCB slot in the socket. Copied from previous review. Trust but check. Checked! It is exactly what you would expect from photos. I put a 94.8mm x 100mm board in it and it fit perfectly. This is the perfect case size if you have tall components and also want to keep the board size within 10cm x 10cm to get really cheap boards from China.
