This works well in my small computer cabinet. It makes noise when you toggle it or when the computer restarts, but that's not a concern since I connect to other computers remotely and it's only needed to access the console if something important needs to be fixed . . This worked fine for me and serves its purpose perfectly with a wired keyboard and mouse, Supermicro 826-12, HPe DL380 G9, DVR and a bunch of Raspberry Pi 4. Bought 2 KVM eKL USB, this version with 8 VGA ports and version with 2 4K ports. BOTH DEVICES cannot share keyboard and mouse.
