Only buy this generator if you are interested in a junk product. It worked in my Ford Five Hundred for about 3 weeks, then stopped working while I was running errands around town and started smoking a lot.

Second generator. The first had a damaged pulley and could not be used. The second seems to work very well. The problem with this is that it makes a winning sound. I can only hear outside the car. I'm keeping him and I hope he's doing well. If not, I'll update this post.

It says it will fit the Ford 500 but it doesn't. I sent it back and ordered a new one and it came out the same. This time the battery burned out, I had to buy a new one. I'm sending this one back too. The amps are too high for a Ford 500. We bought three remanufactured alternators and the same thing is happening. Went to the junkyard and bought one off a wrecked Ford 500 and it works like a charm.

I couldn't find this anywhere around for less than double the price. I changed my car battery 2 times in 90 days, tip. I ran around the parts store but instinct told me to look for it. Oh.
