Chimney fan for controls and indicators

This thermostat was used to replace a failed wood chimney. I'm not sure about the make and model of the fireplace. It was in an old house that I bought. The thermostat works great. The fan turns on after the combustion chamber heats up and turns off when the flame goes out. A good product.

Pros
  • Designed for quick field replacement
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Industrial electrical engineering defective product

The description says it should turn on at one hundred and ten degrees and turn off at 90 degrees. The oven heats up to almost 250 degrees before the fan turns on, and when the oven cools the fan won't turn off, even if the oven temperature is well below the advertised 90° cut-off temperature.

Pros
  • Plugging - 110 degrees (43 degrees), Disconnecting - 90 degrees (32 degrees)
Cons
  • Some errors

It works and I saved myself an expensive service call!

Failed to load media. My stove fan no longer works. My son and I determined that the thermostat must have failed as the fan would run if I set it to 'manual'. I saw the part number on the old thermostat and ordered this one. Arrived within 3 days and installed it myself. A call to a service center would cost $75, plus a portion (which they would charge extra for) and labor. So happy I could do it myself!

Pros
  • To adjust the fan or fan
Cons
  • small things
