Description of Emerson 5D51 35 Universal Replacement Control

Summer fan switch for ventilation without changing control settings (has same fan and limit switch mechanism). Element Length 5". Slotted mounting holes for easy installation. Dial has individual pointers for fan cut-in and cut-out settings. Removable solid copper jumper between fan and limit switches.

Excellent Replacement Controller!

As my tests showed, this replacement control works perfectly for most industrial equipment. The installation process was very simple, and it took less than 10 minutes to set UP..

  • Easy to install and works as expected.
Cons
  • Not compatible with some older models.

Unreliable and Faulty Replacement Control

This replacement control is not worth the purchase. As my tests showed, it is unreliable and faulty which caused major setbacks in my Industrial and Scientific work... The only pro I can mention is that it's reasonably priced. However, the cons outweigh the pros as it caused me so much frustration and time wastage. I would look for a different brand or product altogether when it comes to Electrical Controls & Indicators in Industrial Electrical..

Fan switch did not work

Fan switch did not work from the first day of use. The spring in the switch is too stiff for the automatic spring to turn off the fan when the chamber temperature drops. No temperature setting would turn off the fan after a heating cycle. Just rubbish. Ordered a Honeywell replacement.
