Lots of hard pellets and fewer worms. Our RES didn't like the pellets but I can't blame them, they smelled like dog food. I would not buy it again for my tortoises.

Disappointed with the size. I could get a larger size for less money at Walmart. Very deceptive. Offer a larger size for the same amount of $$s and I'll sign up again.

I saw the package and thought it would contain a pretty decent bag of granules, shrimp and mealworms. I have fed this to my turtles, they love the pellets but my only complaint is the lack of shrimp and mealworms in the bag. Otherwise my kids love it.

I bought this for my red eared turtle based on the reviews and what was in it hoping to add it to my little boy's diet because it's the Turtle that I saved is the one that was meant to destroy him. But unfortunately he only ate one, but that was all he ate. So I thought I'd try, but he just wouldn't take it. So what about something else.

My RES seems to like this food. Maybe it was the crunch, or maybe the smell. If it were human food I would compare it to potato chips (the smell too). While there were definitely whole chunks of food, there was a significant amount of crumbs, more than any other turtle food I've bought before. Again, this can be exactly what happens with crunchy, crunchy food—there will be crumbs.
