Great office printer, not easy to set up

We bought this thermal printer for work. It works fine as described, but there are some programs that don't use the printer and setting up the printer is far from intuitive/easy for the average user. I had to go into the advanced settings and follow the advice on the forums to get it working properly.

Working but short return/notification policy

Ready to use. No stress. I bought this and another Esky model which was an actual lemon. Accidentally sent one of several messages to the POS Megastore for this Epson to resolve a problem with an Esky device. POS quickly informed me that their 30 day policy had expired and spoke to the hand. No 60 days, no 90 days, 30. Attention - if you have any problems, solve them in advance because in 30 days these guys will be done with you.

Fantastic little machine.

Really reliable receipt printer. Less expensive than 90% of cars in its class, but holds up well. Installation was a bit more complicated than other reviewers reported (it's good to know which port you're connecting through), but overall it was pretty easy to get started. Just make sure you don't have an older version of the Epson receipt printer driver installed on your computer as this may cause the installation to fail.

The best receipt printer I've ever had!

This receipt printer is FAST and automatically cuts receipts. The print quality is amazing for a thermal printer and setup is relatively easy. Some have complained that it doesn't work with cash drawers and I had the same issue, but troubleshooting only took about 30 seconds to get it working, at least in my case. Our old receipt printer opened the cash drawer every time. Receipts, but this one only opens them when selling cash, which is much more convenient. If you're willing to do a little…

THE EASIEST AND MOST EFFECTIVE PRODUCT

Easy My cheaper POS 5870 removed drivers for this printer installed printer options opened and cash drawer enabled before printing WORKS Nothing in the world could work better than this product. Prints super fast! FYI, don't expect the manual to have POS/esc commands as it says it's not publicly available, but it doesn't look like Google can't fix it. COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 8! SO YES IT WORKS WITH EARLY VERSIONS The printer comes with some extra parts. Throw them aside as not needed BUT USEFUL
