We bought this thermal printer for work. It works fine as described, but there are some programs that don't use the printer and setting up the printer is far from intuitive/easy for the average user. I had to go into the advanced settings and follow the advice on the forums to get it working properly.

Ready to use. No stress. I bought this and another Esky model which was an actual lemon. Accidentally sent one of several messages to the POS Megastore for this Epson to resolve a problem with an Esky device. POS quickly informed me that their 30 day policy had expired and spoke to the hand. No 60 days, no 90 days, 30. Attention - if you have any problems, solve them in advance because in 30 days these guys will be done with you.

Really reliable receipt printer. Less expensive than 90% of cars in its class, but holds up well. Installation was a bit more complicated than other reviewers reported (it's good to know which port you're connecting through), but overall it was pretty easy to get started. Just make sure you don't have an older version of the Epson receipt printer driver installed on your computer as this may cause the installation to fail.

This receipt printer is FAST and automatically cuts receipts. The print quality is amazing for a thermal printer and setup is relatively easy.
