Works excellent good for me

Cartridges are quality and prints great. We always purchase the Epson brand, rather than the off brand cartridges. Have never been disappointed.

Pros
  • Not inexpensive ink. Yet to see what the ink consumption rate will be in my Epson XP-960 printer.

  • Prone to leaking, potentially damaging the printer or other surfaces

Defective Product best in my review

I ordered 2 of this color so I would have a backup, and the first one printed less than 50 pages before I had to replace. I would have to believe that the product was defective. Not happy with this order.

Pros
  • Easy to install (I'm getting to be an old hand at installation), and it works as it should.
Cons
  • When I installed this cartridge it registered as half full and only lasted about a week and a half.

Good ink, but too expensive

Epson ink is notoriously expensive. I've looked for bargains all over the internet, Ebay has a fair price but if Epson would lower their prices to retailers it would be welcomed. The Epson printer I have eats ink for breakfast, I've paid more for ink than I did for the printer, and to make matters worse availability is becoming a problem. My next printer will not be an Epson.

Okay printing but catridges run out very fast

We have three Epson inkjet printers in our house. Two of them use this 277 cartridge. The printers print very nicely but these cartridges barely last a month with regular printing. The low ink warnings are almost constant. I'm strongly considering switching to a laser printer because it's obvious the inkjet market is all about making you continuously pay for very quickly consumed ink refills. Yeah, it works, but a better price would be nice

Got this only because several generics didn't work in this color. Everyone knows, they make more money off the ink than the printer. So, I appreciate the printer, but price of ink coud be mch beter.

It only let me print about 50 copies.

Very unhappy. After about 50 copies, the printer asked to replace the ink cartridge. It only gave me about 5o copies! I was stuck in the middle of a job with no ink. It only let me print about 50 copies. New cartridge! This never happened before. Really bummed out.

Epson Claria Black Ink

This ink from Epson is great. When working in conjunction with the color multi pack my photos come out looking like it was done professionally. My documents is crisp and very clear.

This printer series uses a 6 color INK system and you do get superior colors in pictures and printing. Very impressive. Exactly what I wanted.

barely okay for my opinion

The high capacity cartridges are rarely available and hard to find if they are even out there. Third party inks are also hard to find in stock. Shame on Epson.again!

this ink is too good for this sorry a$$ed printer

My XP960 will not recognize it. This is the srcondvof two. Not sure what the problem is but personally, I think the printer is a piece of sorry crap. Epson is going down the tubes.

I decided to go for the original brand rather than a knockoff. It definitely works well except that I think it's expensive for the amount of ink in the cartridge. t is easy to install and there is not ink wasted in the process of testing. Just place it in and you're ready to go. One thing though, if you can spare a little extra, go ahead and buy the XL - it is the same cartridge but with more ink.

Quantity of ink is appalling!

I have never used an Epson printer or their ink before, and I must say, I am completely disappointed in their products! I was in the middle of a very important project and after using 2 black ink cartridges on 100 sheets of paper, I ran out of ink before I was done, and the printer gave NO allowance for finishing my project.
