Does not match the description - scanner and accessories

The scanner does not match the description. Yes, it's portable in the sense that you can take it with you, but it can only connect to one Wi-Fi network. If you want to change networks, you must reprogram them. Even if you use an access point from a mobile device, you cannot connect the scanner to this network. Tech support has been great with this product. They are knowledgeable and have tried to come up with various solutions but unfortunately the product is not meant for the way it isโ€ฆ

Very intuitive and works great

This Epson Workforce ES-50 sheet-feed portable document scanner is great! I followed the Start Here instructions, charged the device, downloaded the drivers, connected the scanner to my Microsoft Surface Pro and was ready to scan. I've never had such an easy installation and first use like this one. The ES-50 can only be used by connecting directly to a computer using the supplied USB cable. Other models, 50W and 60W, have more features like wireless transmission and mobile device scanning. Heโ€ฆ

very small and light; scans fast but the software is a little fiddly

I scan documents and receipts quite often at home with the Fujitsu ix-100 handheld document scanner, which I really like, but I also have Epson desktop and handheld scanners that they are good scanners. I ordered this Epson Workforce ES-60W handheld scanner to compare with a Fujitsu ix-100 handheld scanner of similar specification. Do not throw away), paper orientation guide, and printed Getting Started Guide. No software disk is included. Instead, Epson offers download links for the productโ€ฆ

Great scanner but some marketing confusion

I'm a bit confused. I REALLY love this handheld scanner, but there are a few features that make me question the design decisions behind it - and the desktop and mobile app versions work completely differently in countless ways that confuse me enough to write some Find product descriptions misleading. I work in Information Technology (IT) and I can't imagine how the average consumer hasn't racked their brains over some of the 'missing' features advertised in the product description, manual andโ€ฆ
