I wanted an airtight container to throw in my tool box. Instead, I received what appeared to be an open box that someone had sent back. Apparently it was sealed with tape and had no cotter pins. Can I go to my local hardware store and buy cotter pins? Yes. I must? No way! Someone who accepts returns needs to shut up!

1 star not because the parts are faulty, 1 star because I ordered and reordered hoping to have all the parts listed on the box. It is said to come with 2 L-shaped pins and 2 pins with matching clips. The first order came with 2 pens and 1 clip. 2nd order came with 2 L pins and 1 pin. #facepalm I understand why parts can be slightly missing. It looks like a very good product. The clamps on the L-angle fit well and tightly. Manufacturer/Customer Information: L-Clamps will not fit my 1000lb/10000lb Equil-i-zer clutch. I had to return the product. The pin holes are well up the shaft (they're about midway as shown) of the L bracket and don't go under the bracket that is on the trailer with the pole installed, making it useless in my application. Before a long trip I decided to buy a spare set of equalizer coupling pins in case something went wrong or I lost one. This set is just that, a complete set of replacement pens. This set includes 2 locking pins that hold the bars to the trailer and 2 round pins that attach the bar to the hitch. The picture only shows 1 round pin but there are 2 in the box. The product conforms to that declared. It replaced the stock L brackets that had worn out due to excessive friction. In the meantime I have installed these sliding shoes with spring arms to reduce this friction somewhat. Based on my findings, these sliders still provide enough friction to control wobble, but prevent the L-brackets from flexing and also reduce the horrible squeak and squeak when turning.
