Love this hammer - hand tool

This is my everyday hammer. I can catch some of the other guys I work with who are about his height, but he's twice as light and I can handle him just as well. In the end I'm glad I have a lighter hammer with me.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

The perfect rock hammer for a boy

I bought this hammer for my grandson to use as a stone hammer. Its small size and pointed head make it perfect for a little boy. Many hammers have a fairly sharp end on one end, making them unsuitable for a child. The hammer is well made and should last a lifetime.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Compatible

Worth every penny! Great for students!

I've been with HVAC for 2 years now, I've owned this hammer for about a year and three months. Very impressed with the price and quality of the product, have used it diligently and it has held up great all the way from banging sheet metal to chipping concrete (not recommended), would buy again!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Almost never

Awesome Sheet Metal Saver

I recommend this hammer to anyone who works with sheet metal. I have 3 of these hammers. The reason I bought my fourth hammer is not because my last few hammers were damaged, they actually hold up great, but because they somehow grow back their legs and fall off the site. I'm a metalworker with over 22 years of experience.

Pros
  • Great for me

Great hammer at a great price

Work full time in a tin shop. My tools feed my family, so they have to work. When my 18-ounce Malco grew legs, he replaced it. $20 less than the Malco, and the rubber grip is much more comfortable than the leather grip. If you're pounding tin all day, your hands will definitely appreciate the extra vibration reduction. I love it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • unreliable

Excellent hammer for riveting (tinning)

Generally a good, durable and comfortable hammer. Seems to be as well made as any riveting hammer I've ever used. I use it almost every day in my job as an HVAC installer and it will stand up to all the work I do on seams in Pittsburgh and everything else I freakin' beat. I gave 2 thumbs up and haven't broken them with this hammer yet.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Good but not the best

A great instrument, full of quality and pride.

Without a doubt, the hammer is the foundation of almost every other tool on which our society is built, and this hammer bears those expectations steadfastly. If you work with sheet metal, buy one if you need a hammer. It won't let you down, although without good batting gloves it'll also give you plenty of pain after a long day of gluing seams, locks and drives. You really feel every bump and bump.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Damaged

If I had a hammer I would bang it in the morning

Bought this to help with several projects I work on: sheds, Poolside fountain house and gazebo. Everyone has a blink, of course. I chose to spend money on copper because I like the way it looks and there is a serious risk of corrosion as I live in a coastal area. I have a small brake to make bends in copper and I use this sheet metal hammer to stop and set the blinking. This hammer is excellent and I am happy with it. Perfect balance and weight. The square head is designed for working with…

Best craft hammer for the money

I wanted a bit but over $60 in stores was too much and those sold on Amazon tend to be Chinese fakes . I have a claw hammer and it holds up great so I figured why not buy this channel hammer. I have not regretted my purchase at all. So far it has withstood the harsh conditions I work in. If I had to give pros and cons that are negligible at best, it would be its weight. On the other hand, at 18oz it sometimes takes a little more hesitation to get things done (bend rims, demo work, etc.). On the
