I bought one of these because it was exactly the same as the one I had before my Fiero since I bought it (the car) new. But it's not like the ones I had. Windshield - Rubber is TOO SOFT leaving stains on the glass. If you do something, do it in a way that actually WORKS! (That sucks!)

The mop really didn't do well on my car windows. My fountain has hard water and I bought it to completely remove water from windows to prevent stains. The product simply spreads the water all over the window instead of repelling it, making it virtually useless. Tried to return but even that wasn't allowed because you can only send back if it's broken. Because the thing removed so little water, it might as well break.

I'm totally disappointed with this wiper! I bought it to do the simplest job of sticking the film to the windows. He didn't slip at all and stopped moving on the film. I even wet the top of the film to keep it from sliding, but that didn't help much. I only had to use my hands to finish the project. In addition, the rubber part is too soft. The reason this manufacturer makes the best auto glass scraper is because the rubber shield is longer than any other mops I've looked at and the blade is only 6 inches long This is important as all car windows are curved and the rubber fastener easily follows the contour of the glass without missing an area. With every other window cleaning method I've tried, you end up with an extra Windex on the dash, but it serves as an extra cleaner and you're doing two jobs at once.

If you plan on using this scraper straight out of the box, good luck. The slightest jolt to this squeegee and it will fall apart.
