I work at an oil refinery that runs about 100dbz all the time. These plugs do a good job of blocking out industrial noise, but I can still have a normal conversation in an oil refinery. They are great for talking on the radio, listening to music, or even talking on a cell phone. These earplugs fit very well and don't hurt your ears.

Worth it! Saw Excision, one of the bass kings. You can get close enough to feel the heavy bass while still hearing the person next to you you're talking to and it doesn't drown out the music or ruin the experience at all!
