Four bulbs are supplied individually wrapped so use of one bulb does not compromise the fragility of the others. The first time I tried a lightbulb that didn't work, I tried a second one that didn't work. I used a poultry lamp, not a reptile lamp. When I put light bulbs in the reptile lamp, they work great.

The first lamp didn't even last three days. I use this fortball python aquarium and it produces good heat and all. BUT I was checking on my baby and the lightbulb was burned out. In the picture you can see a lightbulb that looks dim. Only used three days! The one next to it also came in that order and is not used.

The bulb life is sooooo short! I'm not sure if it's just a bad batch or what but I'm very disappointed with the quality! Went through 3 bulbs in a week and the last one EXPLOADED! Life wtf they should be quality of life for my pets and it is happening. not cool!

I find that my first lamp lasted a month and is still working because several people have mentioned their lamps are not working or quickly burn through I had no problems. In May we adopted our grown bearded husband Eideks and when my daughter left college I took care of him. I realized that he would benefit from this type of lightbulb overnight. I think that keeps him healthy and warm - it gets cold in New England this time of year (November)! Definitely recommend this product and the seller!

I have used these night lights on each of my fences. My rat comb loves them at night and so does my bearded one. I also use one for my buddies' enclosure, mainly because it's so big. They are also very good if you have an aviary in your bedroom, they are a soft blue-purple hue that is not too light. They are said to mimic natural moonlight, I'm not sure how that happens as most reptiles don't see the same color spectrum as humans. Anyway, the kids love them and I love them too.
