magnet building blocks

I have two grandsons, 5 and 8 years. They LOVE these. The youngest plays for hours and hours. the first day he made over 60 different building and articles. So impressive. Lot of laughing and building and designing. so worth the money. I purchased more pieces and they just keep playing and playing. What more can you ask for in a toy? No batteries. Nothing to plug in. just really awesome magnets in heavy plastic pieces. You'll need at least the 100 piece set. I've purchased 2 of those and a…

Great find at a reasonable price

Couldn't find these anywhere in store! Price was very reasonable. Kids love the magnet tiles and this was a solid expansion to their current set. Sturdy and well made, just like their other products.

Pros
  • My grandson loved it
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all PicassoTiles sets

5 year old LOVES these!

My son loves the two car trucks, perfect for making his magnetic tile train (aka his polar express train to the North Pole) :)

Pros
  • NOTABLE LEARNING: No matter if you already have a set of magnetic tiles at home or you’re planning to get one, this car base will be a great addition. Play and combine magnetic tiles, regular building bricks, figures, and car in ways with no restrictions - all with fun, hands-on play. Encourage fun learning at a young age that will create memorable experiences for your child while enhancing your child’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics) skills early on.
Cons
  • Play set may not be as educational as other learning toys

Tactile delight and endless fun!

I bought these cars and sets of magnetic tiles for kids in my daycare to enjoy. The kids who play with them are 2 and 3 years old. Also the caregivers enjoy them, the parents too, and I and my 7 year old nephew.I recommend these tiles for kids and builders of all ages! They are really fun to play with. They are pleasing to look at and touch, easy to manipulate, and the possibilities are endless for structures to build! Our kids have gotten very creative with them, making everything from…

We own the 100 piece magnetic tile set from PicassoTiles and purchased this to add on to our set. I am so happy with our purchase! These are slightly larger than I expected, but they work really…

Large vehicle bases for magnetic tiles

These wheeled magnetic bases are larger than expected, and they connect to each other. My 4 yr old grandson enjoys building things on top of them. They're different and a nice addition to his large collection of magnetic tiles.

Pros
  • These are good quality and are a perfect match with magnet tiles. My kid loves them.
Cons
  • Only suitable for indoor use

Really well made! - my new review

Purchased these for my daycare class months ago and they are still standing strong! The kids absolutely love building on them and it opens up a whole new world of building for a good price!

Pros
  • Very entertaining, even for adults!
Cons
  • May not fit properly with other brands of building blocks

Pretty sturdy! in my review

These were cute and the kids were excited to have new cars to use with their magnablocks or whatever they’re called. They’re big! They’re also fairly sturdy! Given to 2 year old boys who can be rough with toys. Holding up ok. However, there’s now a crack in one from being thrown on hard ground. Not where a magnet can get out, but will have to be vigilant about checking so they can’t break them and swallow a magnet.

Pros
  • These are a great product and adds to what a person can create with their Picasso Tiles
Cons
  • May not stimulate fine motor skills development as much as other building sets

Fun add on to Magnet toys.

Love these! Had them for awhile now, and they fit seamlessly with both the Picasso Tiles and the Magna Tiles. Adds a fun new play to the magnet tiles. They link together easy for any age, but do come apart if using in a bumpy area - but that hasn't caused them any frustration. They love to build 'houses' and things on top of them - and even put small stuffed animals and things inside - like making a zoo train. We've bought 2 sets now - as one set doesn't really make a train. I do however like…

Fantastic. Picasso Tiles brand is the best. So much fun

Nonstop fun with these. You can build a house on top of them with the tiles or a garage for the cars and on and on with a million ways to use them. My grandkids play with these every single day and just keep creating. Highly, highly recommend.

Pros
  • Offers an interactive way for children to learn and play
Cons
  • May not be versatile enough for children interested in other themes

Cons

Great addition to go with your Picasso Tile sets!

The building Picasso magnetic tiles are great play, but give a child something with wheels and a whole new window of creativity opens! Great addition to the magnetic sets by Picasso.

Pros
  • Embossed / debossed two car seat slots design compared to the previous version of the flat bed surface car design allows secure housing of the PicassoToys action figures such as the included boy and girl characters, animals, other accessories, or even the conventional regular building brick blocks that interlock right in place. Simply cover up with magnetic tiles to turn it into a flat bed surface with trunk space when needed. Trailer tow hook reinforced for car linkup into train conversion.
Cons
  • May not be enjoyable for children who do not like dolls

Great Edition to your Picasso Tile Sets

My grandchildren ( 4yrs and 8yrs ) love to make trains with these wheel cars. This set was inexpensive and well worth the extra playtime/creativity.

Pros
  • Fits seamlessly with existing PicassoTiles sets for expanded learning and play opportunities
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other toys in the same price range

Great for kids 3+ and older.

We got an initial set of these for my oldest son for Christmas and he liked them so much we bought a couple of extra sets so he could build more. It's almost a month later and he still uses them. He likes to build towers and put his other toys inside. Overall they are great but the magnets could be slightly stronger. Sometimes the pieces don't stay in place or don't line up exactly making it hard to build higher but for my son it works perfect. We also have an 18 month who loves to knock down…

Pros
  • Enhances social skills through imaginative play with dolls
Cons
  • May not provide enough options for storytelling or imaginative play

Two-year Old Enjoys!

I purchased these cars/trucks/trains to go along wth the 60-piece PicassoTiles set for my 2-year old for Christmas. They are very fun to play with and her favorite part about these is that they can connect to make a train. The reason I am giving this a 4-star instead of a 5-star is because I wish that once you connected the two pieces, that a stopper or lock could be added so the connected pieces stay together easier. One thing I really like about the PicassoTiles brand is that all of the…

Pros
  • Kids love these to build on with the other magnet pieces
Cons
  • May not be able to be combined with other car and doll play sets

Great compliment product to the picasso tiles!

Our family was exposed to Picasso Tiles for the first time at Christmas. The kids had so much fun with them that we decided to buy our own and found these as well. I haven't tried these with any of the girls in the family, but the boys have had a LOT of fun with them! They make cars, tow around things they have made, and find all kinds of ways to use this. The best part is that they didn't need a lot of guidance on how to use them and were able to play for a long time building and just having…

Pros
  • It’s a great add-on to the blocks.
Cons
  • May not fit the aesthetics of some homes
