Perfect for my needs

I needed an extension cord with a wire that comes out of the top of the plug and blends into the white kitchen wall. This fork is perfect for this purpose. It also has thicker wire and fits my stovetop microwave. I'm rating 1 for durability as I have no idea how long it will last as I've only had it for 2 days.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons

Electrical Short and Melting

This lasted over a year before the short and melting occurred. It was rarely moved, so wear and tear was minimal, and it drew 2 to 6 amps, less than half its maximum rating. I should note that I mean he literally melted; The front and back are deformed and the internal components have melted and expanded, causing the case to crack. I will definitely not be buying any more rotating headbands in the future.

  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Some Defects

Fits new exterior socket cover

So we replaced some of the old exterior sockets with new ones (wow! They needed it!) and the new covers have a lower profile. They also have notches in one corner so you can slip something in and still close the outer cover. However, this required a new extension cable not only with a flat plug, but also with an angle plug. This cable has a rotating fork that adjusts to almost any angle. Ideal!

Exactly what I needed!

It took me about a foot or so to hide the cord along the baseboard and door panel. This little extension worked great, and the rotating head allowed me to position it exactly how I wanted. Usually the problem with extension cords is that they are angled to one side or the other making it difficult to find exactly what you need. It's not cheap, but if they serve your specific purpose, they're worth it.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Great invention! into electrical

These extension cords are a great invention! I bought a few because of my bedside tables, desk. and dresser were directly across from the outlets. When I tried to plug it in, the furniture stuck out more than an inch from the wall and looked weird and dirty. These cord extensions lie almost flat against the wall, and cords for lamps and other appliances can be hidden without furniture protruding. Anyone who figured out how to do this is really smart!

Not the same as what I received.

In the end I had a cable without a rotating plug. (Yes, I'm pretty sure the connector doesn't rotate, and I'm not just having a hard time rotating it). This actually worked better for me because I was skeptical that the pins of a rotating plug could handle the 13 amps I draw through a car charger. I suspect it was just an anomaly, so it doesn't matter. The cable I received is of excellent quality and handles the wattage very well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because I didn't…

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive

Quality is excellent

I used this to plug in a TP-Link smart socket in a dry box in front of my house so I could hook up a string of deck lights to it. This lanyard made this possible as the smart plug fits into the dry box, but the deck light plug was too large and cumbersome to cover the dry box. This cord protrudes through the bottom of the dry box, and then the deck light cord tucks into the cord tucked under the top deck rail to avoid some of the elements. I won't leave this cable, deck lights and smart plug in

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good
