Very useful for building materials

Works very well! The only downside is that dust and dirt will stick to it as it's a bit sticky to keep it in place. I would recommend this to anyone using stairs indoors!

  • Place the stair stop mat on a flat surface. If the floor is sand or gravel, clean the surface before laying the mat. Lay the ladder on the large side of the mat opposite the molding.

Painter wanted!

PERFECT! Not only did this stair mat save my clients from a hardwood floor, it could save you a hospital stay! I was able to use this May to paint a two story foyer and climb with TOTAL CONFIDENCE. An absolute must for craftsmen!

Prevents your ladder from slipping on plastic floors too!

I'm painting my family room with 16 foot ceilings. Obviously I'll have to use an extension ladder to finish the ceiling and walls. I had new hardwood floors installed a few months ago and wanted an extra layer of protection for the floors. I HAVE BOTH PROTECTION AND NON-SLIP. Yes, I'm crazy, but I actually put 3.5 mil thick plastic sheeting on the floor. throw away the cloth and lay the rug on the floor. Also do not move on plastic mats. I love these things.
