Great product! in Tools & Equipment

I really like this MB, it can dry my black GT3 RS in under 10 minutes and blow out the water that usually collects behind the mirror and air duct. I also like to blow the dust off the car. This device meets all declared characteristics and additional filters are an added bonus. The 30ft hose is ideal for other tasks like blowing out a garage. The sporting goods salesman was fantastic and took care of a small problem straight away. Highly recommended.

Cons
  • Not bad

Overall I'm very happy with it. A 30 foot hose is required. Nozzles (other than the conical rubber nozzle) are of dubious value. If you want to run both motors you will need a 20 amp circuit. The unit is rated for 18 amps, and attempting to run it through a 15 amp switch with everything else off yielded only a few minutes of continuous use before the switch began toggling every 10 to 20 seconds. I'm fine with having an electrician install a 20 amp circuit rated for the unit.

Cons
  • Can't remember

8.0 hp Sounds really impressive but is actually no better than a good blower. heat comes from engines; there is no heating. I coped well with the expected temperature rise of 20-30 degrees. The base of the hose and the device itself get hot, but the 30-foot hose is too long for heat to reach the nozzle. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me to add another inlet filter first to restrict airflow. Then they said to remove the nozzle and shorten the hose. Not an acceptable solution; I paid…

The product is excellent but the price is not.

this thing is pretty cool. I bought it with crossed thumbs hoping that I would like it because of the tremendous price. I'm only giving it 4 stars because of the high price. I think Metro kills with their product line. expected as the brand was built door to door by the seller. That's why I've been using blowers to dry cars for years. They worked well, but with sore shoulders, holding the weight of the machine overhead sometimes became too awkward. The decisive factor is the higher air speed…

Reduces swirl marks

I've had it for a few weeks and used it twice to dry our cars and also to dry 4 winter tires. Having a 30 foot hose is both good and bad. The good thing is that this allows you to work at a reasonable distance from the blower so you don't have to move it constantly, but the bad news is that the hose doesn't kink for any reason after the first use. very nice (reason 4 instead of 5 stars). Not sure if the low temperature caused some deformation for some reason? The rest of the device works as…

Save your car's paint! Buy this!

At first I was concerned my garage plug wouldn't be able to support this monster without the switch tripping constantly, but at only 1/2 horsepower (4hp) it seems to work fine. I have a 2003 Black Cobra Convertible and it's probably one of the best investments I've made in terms of protecting my car's paintwork. Rubbing your car with towels, even microfiber towels, can be abrasive and leave minor scratches that can accumulate over time. When you put in the time and energy for a multi-step paint

The product works very well. Pros and cons below

Overview: Works very well overall and creates a decent volume of air in combination with the included nozzle. I was concerned by some reviews that talked about warm air as this is not a bonus when it comes to car drying and the surface will dry prematurely leaving stains but luckily the 'warm air' is , which some have talked about, not my experience. The hose definitely gets hot, but once the air exits the motor and travels down the 30ft hose, I haven't had any issues after about 10 uses. My…
