🔧 EZ (EZ-111) Silver Oil Drain Valve with 14mm-1.25 Thread Size Review

Oil drain valve works great, no more messy oil changes. Except for the oil filter, but they're on par with the fumoto valves you have to buy for any car or truck!

Installation EZ. This 6.4 liter engine "makes" oil out of leaking fuel during the exhaust gas self-cleaning. After all, there is too much oil in the crankcase AND it is diluted with fuel...NOT GOOD! This allows me to drain about 1.5-2 gallons of diluted oil and add good quality fresh oil to extend oil life between changes.

Perfect for my 6.0 Powerstroke. Instead of plugs I have the same fumoto valves. I also wanted one for the oil pan. I think it's a little better with rubber on the handle. It also has internal threads so you can use a plug or hose fitting with it. I didn't use a copper washer to seal it, just a pre-installed O-ring.

Once installed on first use the oil drained more slowly than with the drain plug removed which I expected and wasn't a problem for me. No leaks, easy to turn on and off and works as I intended. Due to the slower flow, problems can arise when changing the oil. The fact is that the plug does not need to be removed and reinstalled with a new washer that was sold to me. No chance for thread breakage.

Bought for a customer's vehicle, the product is poorly designed as the machined area for the recessed o-ring and the o-ring itself does not provide a sufficient sealing surface. When tightened to specification, leaks (cries) --- the customer wanted the car back immediately, so I added a sealing washer (sealing/adhesive washer) which fixed the leak caused by the product's flawed design became. Avoid this product.

Fits 2004 F250 with PowerStroke Engine. works wonderfully. No leaks. just as good as the competitor's versions. I drain the oil from my truck for 40 minutes before installing it. As I approached the valve, the pot slowly dripped. Once in place, the same slow drip continued to flow out of the valve when it was opened. Works great on my 2002 Ford F250 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel! These trucks hold 4 gallons of motor oil so changing the oil becomes a minor process and I always seem to make a mess. Just installed and now I can control the oil flow. In the future it will be much easier and less stressful. It also doesn't hang too low, making it unlikely that anything will ever hit it.
