Offers peace of mind in a vintage van.

Since I drive an old van that breaks down easily I wanted to make sure people can see me on the side of the road. Haven't really had to use them yet but have taken them out of their cases and tried them out to make sure there is no need to study during an emergency and they seem to be just what I need. They come in nice plastic cases and are very easy to store. You can see them in the photo below where I tuck them away in an unused space.

Pros
  • Quality and compactness: 3 pcs. packed, 16.5 x 16.5 x 16.5 inches. The weighted base provides stability while the recognized shape, size and color appeal to motorists.
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Suitable for very infrequent use but expect to wear out

As others have mentioned they are very light. They are very easy to unpack and assemble and as shown in the pictures there are four small stabilizing feet to help keep them upright. The bad news: you're likely to get drained, possibly repeatedly, if you use them to break down at the side of the road. Passing traffic (especially trucks) creates enough wind to blow them away (which is very bad if you install them an adjustable distance from your vehicle). The rest works fine.

Pros
  • High Quality: Made from red reflective acrylic material for night visibility and orange fluorescent plastic material for day visibility, non-slip rubber foot pads and locking lever with slotted spring pins to lock triangle in place and place to prevent it from being blown away or knocked over while driving or in extreme weather conditions.
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Light enough for use on a motorcycle and quite strong.

I took these to carry in my saddlebag on roadblocks, mainly to use in place of traffic cones. They fold well, are thin and light enough to not be a problem with two sets of three on my bike. As long as you understand you are not getting a DOT compliant triangle and you are not expecting a high quality and heavy triangle. At such a low price, they won't disappoint you. I've set them up in fairly strong winds and they're quite stable with the legs down. My guess is that those complaining about…

Pros
  • Easy to use and store: No batteries or tools are required for assembly, it fits into a convenient plastic storage box and is quick to set up. Foldable design for easy in-car storage and quick tool-less setup.
Cons
  • Nothing here
