plate hangers were plate hangers, not much to say about them except they got tangled. But no big deal, the snags are the reason this has 5 stars. So easy and safe.

They definitely do the job and appear solid, but you can easily see the hardware. Since the fittings are made of cheap plastic, it doesn't look good. My plates are teacup plates and may be too small to be used unobtrusively. In addition, the hooks were not easy to assemble. It took a lot of hits with a good hammer to get it all the way in.

These hangers are super cool! To fill the space above my kitchen cabinets, I glued coffee cups to 5.75 inch saucers and needed hangers strong enough to hold them. It really helped. The cymbals feel very safe. Hangers so you don't scratch your plate and the plastic piece you nail to the wall has a cool design for easy installation. I give them 10.

Received them nicely packaged and all sizes were grouped well by size. It was so easy to put the pieces together (you just put rubber pads on each end of the pins to protect the cymbal and then stuck the pins onto the cymbal itself) and glued it to the wall! The instructions were very clear and the photos helped. So far, my very large Turkish designer plates remain and serve as a wonderful decoration! I highly recommend this seller and this product!

I solved the tangle problem by putting them all on a piece of sturdy cardboard after they were unraveled and assembled. I ordered 5" and 6-7" sets but couldn't tell the difference between them as they all fit my 6" records. The 6-7 inch set had slightly longer springs, but that was the only noticeable difference. One set of plastic tips was more flexible and "sticky" than the other and stuck better to the glass plates.

These were great plate hangers. To be honest I just used big headed nails instead of the hooks that come with the kit for peace of mind when hanging them on the walls. I was even able to hang a 6 inch seahorse shaped plastic sheet by getting a little creative and moving one spring in the same direction as the other to hold the sheet better. I think they are very strong as long as you use the right size and if you're worried about falling off I think a larger headed nail works best.

Attention! They are NOT ready to use. The small pieces that soften the plates are NOT already on the plate holder. They are a bit uncomfortable to put on and my fingers hurt today. I used tweezers, but pliers would probably be better. The record hangers themselves make a stable impression. I already have 4 hanging on my wall and I haven't heard anyone hit the floor overnight so that's a good sign. While I agree that the pieces that attach them to the wall look awesome, I don't think I need 4…

I bought some of these to hang fish fossils on the wall. We unearthed over 50 of them at a dig site in southwest Wyoming and use a variety of methods to display them. The fossils, together with the surrounding rock, are about the size of a small slab and vary in thickness from a quarter of an inch to three-quarters of an inch, with the exception of a few larger ones.
