🚿 Enhance Control with Delta Faucet RP17446 Single Handle Button for Bath, Tub, and Shower Review

Said to be a gold tone but definitely silver. I mixed metals so silver with a gold handle suits me but I want them to show the true color.

My old Delta faucet knob in my shower had mold on the inside and no cleaning, soaking or scrubbing worked, so I decided to buy this replacement. Perfect fit. Arrived quickly. Exactly what I needed.

Description says: Colour: Brass/Old Brass but they look like chrome - we haven't opened them yet so they might be ok. The one we are replacing is cracked and falling apart. There is no color description on the box, but this is the original Delta box.

We didn't want to replace the entire bathtub faucet and handle as it's a hot tub and we never use it. But the buttons were gold and we wanted something different. We got the old ones out and they broke so there's no going back. These fit perfectly. They are silver in color but look neutral when installed. Very pretty and perfect fit

I was very happy to find them in Brass but they are NOT BRASS or Antique Brass but Painted Chrome or Pewter! If only I had read a lot of reviews I would have known it wasn't copper! I'll leave them, but I need to change the color somehow or use them without the aluminum delta knob. The previous one was 25 years old and one cracked and the button turned to powder!

Restore if you can! Some faucets are worse than others. I had two faucets in the house that were old. Hidden in my bathroom. BUT I ended up trying to clean and restore it. My old rusty and moldy hats were such a thorn in my side. They had cracks, I led them to a large accumulation of moisture. I didn't seal them like other reviewers. Received four of these today. I took a chance, especially after reading the comments, and ended up with a silver/chrome version of the knobs, which is exactly what I wanted. The description is wrong but the specs clearly state that the part number is RP17446 and not RP17446PB. If you want a polished brass version, you'll probably need to look elsewhere than Revain; At the time of writing this review I could not find the part number RP17446PB on the website.
