Hose and tips are REAL METAL, not just chrome plated plastic! Very flexible.

I was very pleasantly surprised to discover that this hose (and both ends) is actually metal - almost all "chrome" hoses I've seen or used lately are clearly metal, glossy painted plastic (or thin metal over hard vinyl). This hose is very flexible and looks very high quality. I would say that this is not just a replacement but definitely an upgrade from the rigid hoses that come with most budget shower heads.

But works. fits pipes, fittings and accessories

I received this as a replacement. Another hose from my shower that lasted about 5 years but eventually failed. Overall this host seems to be of pretty good quality. The only reason for deducting a star is that the connectors are too big to fit. Slider holder that allows that? The shower head has to go up and down for my kids. If it was maybe 1/8 inch smaller in diameter it would fit perfectly. And so sometimes it falls out and despite the heaviness of my showerhead, it breaks badly when it…

A little suspicious about this one

I ordered this because it was said to be a Delta product. Even though the package arrived with a Delta brand liner, it was covered in black sticky residue and when I opened it it turned out that it had been returned. I decided to go ahead anyway, thinking it might be an anomaly, but when I tried to screw it onto the adapter, it immediately twisted. I tried again, but he messed up the threads again. I tried this on my second Delta shower head and got the same results. I'm not sure if I received…

Perfect hose and so easy to install even I could do it!

With much concern and trepidation I finally realized it was time for a new hose for my showerhead. And it took courage to research and order the right part. Voila! I did it! Why it took so long to grit your teeth is a question for another time. However, trust me when I tell you that ANYONE can do it. The order took almost no time, received in less than two days, installed with one hand and a complete success. What a real pleasure to be in the shower and take full advantage of my beautiful Delta

Perfect replacement for Delta shower head 51704

I have a Delta hand shower (model 51704) in my shower. The fitting is eight years old and the connecting hose that came with it is starting to fall apart. The hose wasn't metal like I thought, it was vinyl hose wrapped in a plastic helix that looked like metal but wasn't. This replacement tube is the same length as the original tube (69 inches) and I love it. Much better than original. I should have replaced it many years ago and made my life easier. This replacement hose is made entirely of…

If you are buying this for daily washing of small children and/or pets expect to be replaced in as little as 4 months. I bought it on April 18th, 2016, it arrived on April 20th and I installed it the same day. I use this daily to wash my dogs paws every time they go to my backyard on business (the backyard is full of mud) so twice a day for 2 dogs. I also bathe one dog once a week and the other every 23 weeks. So, as you can see, I use it actively every day. If you have children, it could very…
