Too many limitations

The thing is good if you don't like the air blowing so much. This halves the airflow. When the fan is at minimum speed, nothing comes out. I take out the filter and the blower works great. It's garbage. I put another one (simple/cheap) and there is no noticeable difference in airflow due to the lack of a filter. At least it fits right.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Zero

The filter is easy to install

I changed the filter on a car I bought a year ago and what a difference. The air is much better than mine and it seemed to me that there was more air in the car. Ease of installation. I am planning to buy another one as my old filter was very bad and I had no idea about it. I am disabled and have problems with my hands and had no problem replacing this filter.

  • Great for me

Exactly what I want from a cabin filter

Easy cabin filter change in my 2004 RAV4. Filters need to be changed. My old one was loaded. This should remove both odors and particles. It's hard for me to judge, but it definitely does a lot of particle work. Dirt does not get into the cabin. I trust FRAM and was happy to have found a filter that fits my car.

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Some little things

Better than literally nothing!

Considering my car has apparently not had a cabin filter in over 5 years this was a definite improvement. The air vents used to blow out a lot of dust and dirt while driving on the highway when the air conditioning was on. Speed. Now I don't have any dust or annoying gas fumes from outside that I used to feel. Cheap and effective cabin filter 10/10, better than literally nothing.

  • Good

No more sneezing. for filter

What I liked most about this product is that the installation instructions included in the package were specific to the car. Much to my surprise, my car didn't have a filter to replace, so I just put a new filter in and, wow, what a difference! The air smells much better and I find that I no longer have to sneeze while driving. Easy installation. Fresh smell. Highly recommended.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

. 15,000 miles or whenever I see it dirty. Not much smell and.

I've been using this filter for about a year and change it every 15,000 miles or when I see it's dirty. It doesn't have that much smell and I see a lot of people confused about the arrow and FRAM can't sort things out. Thus, the direction of the arrow is opposite to the direction of the air flow. For example, on my 2005 frag, the airflow is down so I place the filter arrow up (white side up) so this is where the dirt will be caught and the charcoal side down. hope that helps

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Not bad

Easy install, easy replacement (Scion TC 2006)

My girlfriend bought a car with 200,000 miles on it. Sounds mechanical but definitely needs a little love in the little things. She complained that there was a strange smell in the car, but the interior was spotless, so out of curiosity we pulled out the cabin filter. I was immediately convinced that the filter had been in the car since day zero. Beetles and bees as well as various rubbish out of nowhere. Total foul. Bought and it was a quick ninja setup for a new bright white filter. The carโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

Filter Toyota conveniently forgets

It's dusty here in Waikiki because of VOG (volcanic smog). I asked if there was a filter for cabin air or air conditioning. Well there was. I was told what the jock box (glove box) was. Well, I checked and there was a place for a filter, but Toyota "forgot" to put it in. After comparing the specs and seeing that Fram made this neat filter using activated charcoal and baking soda, I ordered it. When he came I got the jock. Box, squeeze the sides a little and put a new filter in the compartmentโ€ฆ

BEST CASIN FILTER EVER USED

I have been using an OE cabin filter since I bought my new car. It was a great filter, no complaints. However, while looking for a replacement filter, I noticed a fresh fram breeze. I really liked the concept of the baking soda and charcoal lining in the filter media. I couldn't be happier with the result. I get clean smelling air outside, even an hour's drive, and as far as I can tell it traps just as much dirt as the OEM filter media. and baking soda, and due to its rigidity, be careful notโ€ฆ
