3 out of 12 started humming in the first 2 months and then stopped working. all 12 are in the spot sockets on the ceiling, 3 groups of four and one is defective in the cluster, the others are hidden in the second cluster. So far no one has failed in the third.

I know a lot of reviewers were unlucky with this flooding but the box I received was packed to the wall and unlike many CFLs they switch themselves instantly so you don't have to wait for them to warm up. Excellent purchase.
