Great seal kit - spares

Let's see if we have enough, but we've always had positive experiences with FelPro. Fixed a major vacuum leak on our 2000 Ford 4.0 SOHC engine, which is fairly common on these engines.

Outstanding seals

I had to remove the air intake on my mother's 2005 Ford Explorer to replace her fuel rail pressure sensor. I decided to go ahead and replace the seals while I was there. Glad I did, the originals showed signs of cracking. These spacers fit perfectly and held up well while I reinstalled the camera. Once again, Fel-Pro parts are proving to be worth their weight in gold.

I replaced my original gaskets on my 2003 4-door Ford Explorer XLS 4.0L engine and transmission. Installed as original, the product was satisfied. Be sure to tighten the intake bolts to the correct factory points - do not overtighten the bolts! I had to remove the intake manifold to access the air conditioning lines at the firewall and found the gaskets were bad and needed replacing anyway. Should have replaced the seals sooner if I knew they were shot! Gaskets are made in China. Despite this…

Perfect fit and seal manifold with correct tightening sequence

seals manifold perfectly. Just follow the instructions, be aware, never over torque and never use Permatex or any other gasket additives or you will be changing them again sooner than just using the correct torque as directed. 2001 Explorer sports track. I cross-tightened the isolator bolts to 110 IN-lbs. The engine now runs like new, and all the problematic "lean codes" that cause too much air to flow through leaky seals have been eliminated.
