Doesn't hold the vacuum for more than a day or so.

I'm a big fan of the container's overall aesthetics and ease of use BUT it doesn't hold a vacuum for more than a day or so. This product becomes an overpriced canister if it cannot maintain a vacuum. Getting coffee out of it every day does the job, which is why I didn't notice the defect until after the warranty period (which is only 30 days) expired. I would not recommend this product.

It keeps my coffee really fresh

I use dark roast ground coffee which comes vacuum packed. I was always frustrated with how quickly the coffee lost its freshly ground flavor after opening the bag. I have tried different containers but none have been satisfactory. I bought an Atmos vacuum tank a month ago. It's easy to use and really keeps the coffee fresh. I've had 3 bags of coffee in a month and every morning I get the same great taste.

  • Fingers crossed

Great product, great for storage and organization

This vacuum container really works. I know this because when I buy a 12-ounce bag of coffee, I place the unopened bag in an Atmos canister, screw on the lid as instructed, and when I open the canister, the coffee bag looks like factory produce in a vacuum. Packaging. When I open a coffee bag, air comes out. I have an Atmos canister of all sizes and use the smallest to hold my already weighed coffee the next morning.

  • Cool

  • Good but not great

Loved these Atmos cans (Metal)

Bought 2 Atmos cans for coffee beans. I then grind and brew coffee, so I store whole beans. I use these containers for my daily coffee, which means I have to open them at least once, often 2 or 3 times a day. Rotating to create a lower pressure works great. After a few weeks, one of the containers began to lose vacuum overnight. I messaged the Fellows and they responded very quickly and a replacement was sent. Apparently the filter part of the cap has been changed (some particles can get into…

Great product when it really works - 3 DOA!

I have 2 of these that came out of the box and still work - and they're great when they work. But as you've probably gathered from other reviews, Fellow has a very serious quality control issue. I had 3-3! - those that are DOA come in a row - the covers just don't work and don't remove air. I can sit and turn 40 times, and when you press the center button, not even the slightest hiss is heard. I replaced my 2 working lids with new containers and they work as expected, so I know for sure that…

High quality, discreet, odor resistant, more storage than I expected

I was struck by this product for its simplicity and sophistication. I needed a place to keep my "coffee" that wouldn't stink all over the house. I bought it thinking it was the size of my little "coffee grinder" so I was a bit surprised by the $30 label but ultimately thought it was fair for a vacuum seal but like you As you can see from the pictures, it was A LOT. more than I expected - in a good way! With just a few simple back and forth movements, the air is expelled from the chamber into…

  • New to my collection

18-32 turns for vacuum, maybe a little short for 1 lb of coffee

I haven't heard what type of glass is used in the glass version (I hope borosilicate but I can't find that spec), so I went for the stainless steel version (1.2L). This canister closes well and has a sleek, minimalist design that I really like. However, for my medium-sized hands (my glove size is usually M or L for men, depending on style/brand), I find it a little tiring to grip, twist the lid back and forth to create a vacuum. Turning clockwise is the "working" stroke, gradually removing air…

  • Sturdy construction

Excellent storage tin

I received a 1.2 liter glass canister. The glass is thick enough for a vacuum. When I first tried to open it, the cap would not come off, even after twisting the cap and pressing the release valve multiple times. It turned out that the rubber seal around the cover was not fitted correctly. The seal came loose a little, but it was enough to cause additional friction between the glass jug and the lid. After proper installation, the lid can be easily removed from the glass jug. The green vacuum…
