Cool adapter for a new and expensive SSD

This is a beautifully designed adapter and probably overkill, but I didn't want my expensive SSD hanging in the wind with a cheap adapter. This is perfect for my desktop tower that previously had an old 3.5" spinner in it and keeps it off the frame allowing air to circulate from all sides. Fenlink provides two DIFFERENT SIZE screws, so make sure you can see them and separate the 4 small ones (that fix the SSD to the frame) and the 4 big ones (that fix the frame to the computer case). Bigger…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Only available in white

Perfect computer accessories and peripherals

This rock solid holder/adapter is made from pure cast and machined metal (with a few tool marks) and comes with all the necessary screws and hardware to mount a 2.5". monitor .Drive in 3.5" hard drive storage. The platter is centered on the vertical and horizontal axes so it sits close to the center of the 3.5" space and is offset in depth to accommodate the header connection which ultimately balances them on all three axes.I bought this to fit a 480GB SSD in a 2005 Power Mac case and it worked

Does exactly what you need but brilliantly.

This review is about: Fenlink 2.5" SSD to 3.5" SATA Drive Converter Every time you make a purchase, it's orders of magnitude better than you thought . This is one of those purchases for me. Hard disk. This allows you to install a 2.5" drive and the connectors…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

This is the perfect solution when trying to install a 2.5" laptop sized SSD or hard drive in a machine with a proprietary mount like Dell Optiplex or HP. Large enterprises typically use sleds that snap onto a standard 3.5" hard drive, and the cables are typically ONLY long enough or in just the right place to go to the SATA power or data cables inside the to get to the machine. With this solution, your 2.5" drive fits perfectly in the 3.5" spot and has the same brackets and screw holes as the…

I used this to install my HP Touchsmart Pavilion model sisters Desktop computer upgrade 23-F261 Edition 2013. Your computer was slow and after checking what Taskmaster showed me my suspicions were confirmed. First, it only had 4GB of RAM, and second, it used an old-style spinning hard drive. To be precise, a 1 TB Western Digital Blue Drive. After I upgraded their RAM from 4GB to 16GB, I had to install a new 500GB Western Digital SSD drive. The hard drive cage included in the scope of delivery…

Great adapter with few issues

I have both this adapter and the Sabrent adapters. Of these two popular adapters, I find the Fenlink to be the better one. (1) The Fenlink has a backplate next to the connector pins, but the Sabrent doesn't. This rear wall prevents the connector from wobbling. (2) The Fenlink board is attached to a piece of metal that is part of the frame, while the Sabrent connects the board to the frame with screws on either end. (3) Fenlink screw. too short. It barely reaches the SSD drive. I hope it can be…

Reliable, top-of-the-line hard drive adapter

materials. It actually seems to be of a higher quality than some of the iMacs in terms of ports chosen by Apple, which tend to be very fragile. I have an i7 iMac 27" Late 2010 and an i7 iMac 27" Late 2018. As the Late 2010 iMac is more detailed it is much easier to work with and this was used to record a 960GB SSD plus an additional traditional laptop size 2 Terrabte hard drive instead of a floppy drive. While the 2010 iMac doesn't support the highest SATA transfer rates, the overall speed…
