Good quality material overall but the color has faded badly in one summer, now after almost 2 years it is very faded. The paint held up just like the Jeep, that would have been 5 stars.

This is complete bullshit. The strut pin is not level and will not fit unless you change the attachment point. The finish is pink and thin - it comes off instantly. You can see the corner in my picture - that's how it lined up and WILL NOT FIT.

Four stars only because I had to sand the washers that came with it. Two washers didn't fit, there wasn't enough play so I had to lower them to fit in place. Otherwise great price, great packaging and great workmanship! I'm revisiting this trail to the stars because the amazing finish I wrote about above is gone after about 5 months.

First of all I was very impressed with the packaging! You don't have to worry about these bad guys getting damaged in transit (although I plan to use them on the road lol!). Overall the quality looked great; My only "complaint", if you can call it that, is that the red color was a bit light. maybe a little pink? Let's see what/if the sun does something to wipe them out.

Both are not perfectly straight. So if you try to add shims to prevent rattling, they won't fit properly. The assembly is very difficult and the screws are already rusting. It's only been two months! If you don't care about pucks and don't mind their clinking, they're sure solid and strong enough to be pulled, but the other 99% of the time you're better off. spend more money.

The reason for the 3 star rating is that they were very cheap and were delivered overnight at no extra charge. However, the red turns pink within a month and the powder coating is very thin. The threads are the same powder color, and the threads are quickly corroded with each use. I will replace mine and include them in my repair items as a backup. They are suitable for that.

Restraints appear to be normal. No frills. I was disappointed that the washers and isolators were not rubber as the description might indicate. They are hard plastic. I put Iron Cross on the bumper and both washers didn't fit. I had to use the rubber washers from the mounts on my tow/winch kit. I paid extra because I expected rubber material and not hard plastic that will break easily. The quality is ok but I don't expect them to stand up to frequent heavy use. I wish I had researched more. Had to do a little research to find out what was going on. The advertised rating for them is a bit misleading. For a shackle to be considered "rated" there must be a WLL (Working Load Limit) listed on the shackle. And, like all 3/4-inch D-ring shackles, they're standardized to a working load limit of 4-3/4 tons (4.75*metric*tons), which equals 10,471 pounds.
