Easy to fit. Once heated and wiped clean, it brought my Filson jacket back to life. I used it in the rain and it repels water as advertised.

My 15 year old hat looked a bit dry so I ordered this product. I applied 2 coats of wax using a hair dryer to melt the wax so it absorbs. The first layer was stained, so I repeated the same process a second time. The hat looks almost new.

My Filson chaps have been worn for at least 10 years, are almost white where they were worn and are no longer waterproof. I've tried other waxes and Filson's is much easier to apply. It seems to have been improved recently. I apply it liberally with my fingers, leave it on for a day and then use a hair dryer to remove the "sticky" effect. A dryer gun will also work. The fabric is waterproof again with a worn feel. I don't know if I'm applying too much, but the amount in this can was enough for a double pair of tin pants. You have to pay attention to the quantity as I didn't have an extra. I had to stretch the rest of the app towards the end. I also started on the front and finished on the back. I ended up ordering another can to make sure I would attach the back if needed.
