Necessary! in Brushes

After using my decanter for the first time, I thought there must be a better way to clean it than with a regular sponge, and guess what? There is! If you have a carafe, you should get one of these brushes. The carafe is very easy to clean without the risk of breaking it by sticking your hand down its neck. Easy to wash and stays fluffy when dry.

Pros
  • Household Items
Cons
  • Damaged

Great for cleaning tools

I bought this brush for several glass bottles that we use for coffee and tea - they are very narrow at the top and about 33cm tall which makes them difficult to clean. I can work with this bottle brush and it's stiff enough to put some pressure on the floor. It probably won't scrape anything too heavy, but it works very well for coffee and tea (and I suspect wine) film on the bottoms of glass bottles.

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Works very well with brushes

I bought this brush for several glass bottles that we use for coffee and tea - they are very narrow at the top and about 13 inches tall making them difficult to clean. I can work this brush into bottles and it's heavy enough to put some pressure on the bottom. It probably won't scrape anything too heavy, but works very well for coffee and tea (and I suspect wine) film on the bottoms of glass bottles.

Pros
  • Flexibility: Helps clean hard-to-reach areas. The brush material remains firm and does not become too soft.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly

Aversion to decanter brush

The item I received does not look like the picture. The item I received looks like a toilet brush. It's a gift so hasn't been used yet and I'm not sure how it flexes to empty the entire carafe. I was expecting the vacuum to look like the picture, long and narrow that folds around the edges with a pad up to the handle. I don't like this one, but I don't have time to go back to another. The image needs to be resized to adequately represent the submitted brush.

Pros
  • Also works with vases, water and baby bottles!
Cons
  • Obsolete

There are so many things wrong with him

First of all, the picture gives the impression that it is made of terry cloth or something similar. It actually looks more like styrofoam. Yes, a foam brush. I don't think you can use soap on the brush itself. It would do no good. I'm used to covering it with a paper towel when using it. The brush itself is not flexible and bends a lot. Once it is in the carafe, you cannot place it any further and adjust the brush to the carafe. As a result, you cannot use it to reach hard-to-reach places in…

Pros
  • Safe for all glasses and crystal; will not scratch.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
