Money saved perfect fit and high quality

Arrived intact and finished perfectly on both sides - one side has a first surface highly polished (I believe this mirror will then match L or R substrate plate). The double-sided tape made installation on the subfloor easy and reliable. Be sure to align it correctly the first time. I don't think you'll get a second try.

Pros
  • High score for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Working speed

Body fit and finish on my car

It was the right shape and size for my 2003 VW. I didn't trust the weird glues that came with it and instead used a glue with high heat and weather resistance. I also bought a driver's side mirror and it turned out to be reversible? So it would probably work for both, but cost twice as much as a passenger side mirror, which is frustrating.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Almost OK

Heck, my piece of tape I used as a .

Complicated installation. I put double sided tape on the old mirror. Find a little suction cup I keep from old halogen lights to help you navigate. I can't find it, so make a loop with regular duct tape and stick your fingers through the hole. I stand up and take a deep breath. I show my new mirror closer. Closer. Closer. Damn, my piece of tape I was holding my finger on slipped off and now the glass is stuck a little crooked and you can see the crappy blue tinted mirror on the back. What to…

A little confusing. It will be good if you replace the

I never installed it because I couldn't figure out how to install it. By that I mean there are instructions for several different scenarios that have instructions for, my case was between two of them and I wasn't sure which to go with. In the end I went to the parts store and bought a mirror with built-in electronics at a lower price.

Pros
  • mounting tape included in the package to easily install the
Cons
  • glue. Quality

Easy to fit on my Passat 02 broken mirror

Some bellows broke my mirror. It was broken so I had to break off the remaining pieces of glass and clean the surface. Once I had a clean surface it was easy to stick with the included glue, be sure to remove old glass or the defrost function won't work. Cheap repair of an old car, I would definitely buy again if needed.

Pros
  • Step by step instructions for easy fitting
Cons
  • Big and chunky

You sent the wrong mirror. READ CAREFULLY.

So the mirror arrived and I noticed that most of the reviews say the mirror is reversible. Actually, that's wrong. Mirrors have a reflective side and a glass side. The glass side protects the reflective side from scratches. My mirror said it was for the driver's side when I ordered it, but for the correct side to face out it had to be on the passenger side. On the driver's side it is upside down and the scratchable surface faces outwards. The difference is small, but if you look at the edges…

Pros
  • This glass does NOT have a heating function but is suitable for manual remote and electric heating mirrors

Excellent value for money and quality; Clear glass works well

Replacing a side mirror on a 2002 Passat that has turned black over the years. This model has a heating element built into the "mirror" and will eventually fail in one way or another. In my case, the heating element still worked, but the mirror wouldn't snap into place without cracking completely. One star docked for bad or useless instructions. On this car, it's best to first take out the old glass with a trim tool or something similar. The old "glass" and the heater are pulled out with little
