Very high quality but VERY short length

Very high quality clothes but very short for my 12.5 lb baby. I read the reviews before ordering and thought the large would be ok but it is too short and when I tried it on she didn't want to wear it. My dog is 16 inches long from neck to tail. Chest 15. So according to their size chart I need size XL for my dog's length but the chest size for this size is 20 inches which makes it very large for the chest size. Return L and consider ordering XL. The ribbed part does not stretch, only the plush

Cute and soft but the material doesn't hold up.

3 returns required to determine final size. It's very cute on my dog and the fluffy material is very soft. The fluffy part is ok at the bottom, but around the neck it doesn't hold its shape and slips off the neck. Washes and dries well in cold water. It just doesn't fit a hair dryer. He looks cute in it and is cozy and warm. We have blue and oat (beige) color. I love that it has legs and not just leg holes. It covers his tummy very well and has an elastic band so it stays close to the skin andโ€ฆ

Great warmth for a cold dog!

I am very happy with this coat. I have a 20lb basenji and got the XXL because of the length. I could probably get the next size down, but then it might not cover her butt like it does. I have a much thinner sweater on my butt, so the sizing helps with that. I like that the back has elastic to conform to the dog's back. easier to get in and out of. I wouldn't recommend leaving your dog unattended in a coat with armholes that big as his leg got caught in it a couple of times when he got up afterโ€ฆ
