This is one of the best tools I've bought in a long time. I used it today to do the front brake on my PT Cruiser and it made the job a lot easier and also made the job quicker.

I was hesitant about which caliper compression tool to buy but settled on this one. I've used it before and I'll love knowing that this five banana tool is what I'll use next time I need to compress a caliper piston.

You can do it the old fashioned way, or you can do it easier. Compressing caliper pistons is never fun, but this tool compresses single and double, big and small, single and, more importantly with two-piston calipers, evenly. Costs money.

So bought because I usually work a lot on my cars and I have 4 piston and float calipers so it worked great on a pilot honda 2009 only problem, I notice that when you pull back to compress the piston you may have to push down on the sides of the tool to make it roll. That was my only issue, but it worked for what I needed

A quick way to move the piston back. However, in order to tighten it enough to start squeezing, you have to squeeze the plates together as you snap it in, as it tightens a few clicks and the plunger quickly returns to its original position. NOTE: This will NOT work on vehicles that require the piston to rotate when you push it backwards. DO NOT USE WITH PISTONS THAT NEED TO ROTATE WHEN PUSHED, there is a special tool for that.
