These candles are looking very good for fake candles. Solid plastic flame so obviously wrong compared to some of the dancers but they don't do that kind of click. On the remote, the difference between dark and light is negligible. I like that the ignition mechanism on the candle (if I lose the remote) can be activated by pressing the flame instead of taking it out to flip the switch. I love that it's a real wax outer shell and can be melted down to fit candle holders, but I bought 4 boxes and most arrived broken. From the photos you can see that almost all of them have the bottom broken leaving a wax tube into which the electronic part goes in and out. I've tried smelting and repairing but when the bottoms chip off it's very difficult so I'm sending it back. These candles are a good size and look great in my candle holders. The "flame" flickers and can be switched on at the base or with the remote control. Each candle requires two batteries that are placed in a metal cylinder in the center of the candle and the battery lasts a long time! I have purchased several flameless candles from various companies in search of the 'perfect' one that looks the most realistic. For me the candle has to be real wax and they are. I also like that this set doesn't have a plastic or rubber cap on the bottom. So if they don't quite match your candlestick, you can shave some wax off the underside for a good fit.
