Love the concept but light pad doesn't work.

The light pads do not work.got a replacement and the second still doesn't work. Frustrating. These were a gift for my 10 year old son.

  • The pre-drilled paper may not be compatible with all types of binding methods, such as spiral binding

My child likes it on my review.

My child has been very interested in creating flip books. This set helps him a lot on lining up. Also the paper quality is good to flip.

Pros
  • Easy to use and great for taking ones mind off the craziness.
Cons
  • The kit may be expensive for those on a tight budget, making it inaccessible to some creatives

Board not bright enough for me. If you're protecting eyes, it won't work

I can't say it's bright enough to make it easy. I attached a picture of the board at its brightest yet I had to really stare in order to see what my previous drawing was. Otherwise this set provides a lot of holed cards, plenty binder material to make many tiny books or five thick books. Also came with a stack of tiny Butcher paper /however you call it. Because the most important thing didn't do its job I'm giving it 3 stars.

Son loves it best in my review

Got this for my son and he loves it. The paper is thick and soft and the light works well for tracing. His only complaint is that he wishes there were more sizes of binding screws. Very nice set and would make a great gift.

  • The light pad may produce a harsh or artificial light, making it difficult to work for extended periods of time
