Works great but there are a few things I didn't know until I ordered

I didn't realize it was a low flow valve. I used this for a project for kids - a "dunk tank" pouring water over them from a bucket. I hooked it up to a hose to automatically refill the bucket after it's empty, but that's definitely slower than filling straight from the hose.

Heavy waterproof

When I opened the faucet, it dripped heavily from the hose fitting. Pulling didn't help. Teflon tape didn't help. Lubricating didn't help. Changing to a different hose didn't help. Replacing the gasket with silicone didn't help either. The other valve in the pair was just as bad. What ultimately made it waterproof was replacing the gasket with one from my own parts box, a toroidal (donut) shape instead of a flat gasket. At the moment the valve is tight and working.

Works but not very well in hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing

When the float rises the water shuts off so they work in that regard. The fittings are probably the worst I have ever used. The thread did not match my standard hose end. So my garden hose never reached the rubber washer to make the seal. There is no spin. This is how you end up twisting your hose. I had to buy tube lube to keep them from leaking. Ps, it took a lot of cane dope. After a month of use, the water is still holding. I used them to automate water for my animals. Found both in a…
