🚽 Fluidmaster 400AH PerforMAX Universal Toilet Fill Valve, Easy Installation, High Performance Review

- The only reason I bought this fill valve system was because it took too long to fill my tank. My 3.5 gallon tank fills up in 140 seconds. This is slower than the old Fluidmaster I replaced. I checked to see if there was dirt stuck in the pressure valve; there was no. - I am not satisfied with the purchase, a waste of my time and money. - When Fluidmaster claims double fill speed, they must state what claims faster fill speed or not.

I have never done plumbing repairs. I opened it, turned off the water in the toilet, threw some towels behind the toilet and got to work. It was very easy to install, the instructions are well written and my toilet is quieter now. All round perfect product. I have a few comments I would like to make about the instructions. Sorry but these valves are awful! I bought 2 about a year ago and am already having issues with them. I was replacing one of my old, vintage Fluidmasters so I decided to do both of my toilets and damn it was a mistake. Every few flushes they get stuck and the bowl is flushed but not filled with water. I could see if I have a dud, but BOTH having this problem after a year is ridiculous! UPDATE July 10: Well I just bought another one to replace the one I have Had in my guest bathroom for several years, the amount of rust that looks like sludge at the bottom of a tank of "clean" water takes away any wonder as to why they don't last forever (and why I drink filtered/bottled water). As always, installation is easy and hassle-free. I've learned over the years that wearing work gloves and tightening the large plastic nut on the fitting next to the tank poses less of a problem as it…
