Love it!: Camping

As a kid, I begged my dad to walk a tightrope in the garage. (I can't imagine why he didn't, concrete floor and all.) I accidentally bought this slackline kit last week after seeing it on YouTube. I'm in my 50's now, and although my DH thought I was crazy (possibly), he helped me stretch the line (and top guide) between two trees about 30-40 feet apart. Set up was very easy - no tools required. Interesting things happen when you force yourself to do the impossible. Each muscle must learn to…

Lots of fun but the strap wears out quickly

We bought this for our little backyard adventure land for our 3 boys and all their friends next door and so far it's been a huge hit! It was fairly easy to install on trees and held up well and after 2 weeks of frequent use we only tightened it once. The best thing about this set is a line that can be pulled across the slackline for the boys to hold on to until they learn how to balance. There is also a harness that can be slung across the top line and dangled below for smaller walkers like our

WE LOVE DHI SLACK camping

WE LOVE DHI SLACK! the whole family loves it as a means of exercise and entertainment. But don't be fooled, it's DIFFICULT at first, but with practice, you can do one step on the slack, then two, then three, etc. There is a handy "workout" slack that allows you to do the Brace further balance beginning as we thought. was critical for beginners. This set also comes with two tree protectors which was great because we want to take advantage of the slack in the park and not crash into the trees…

Clever and fun

Everyone in the family (my wife, my 6 and 8 year old girls) loves to use slackline. It's heavy, but I feel like I get better every time I use it (I've had it for about a week now). It's easy to attach and remove (comes with a pouch to put everything in). It probably takes 5 minutes to set up, can take 10 minutes to take down because I like winding strings and tidying things up. I love that it comes with tree guards and they are pretty easy to install. The ratchet mechanism makes a pretty solid…

Great family fun! Don't forget to read the instructions!

If you are looking for something that focuses on outdoor activities and fun for the whole family then this is a great product! My kids got it for Christmas and they love walking in the imaginary lava pit. A word of caution though. There's a reason the instructions say to lay the slackline at knee height. I learned this when I decided to bravely traverse the lava pit of doom. I was about halfway there when my confidence decided to desert me and my legs started to dance like a squirming worm on…

Happy Beginner for Slacklines

As someone who has absolutely no experience with slacklines I am very happy with this kit. We have a spot in the corner of our backyard that is quite open and my wife and I were trying to figure out what to do with it. Our homeowners association has pretty strict rules about backyard heights and shed sizes, so those options were pretty limited. HOA is good and all, but sometimes I feel like they overstep their purpose; but that's a rant for another site. Anyhow, we decided that it would be…
