I've been using rollers for a very long time and this is my way. Now I make my own chopsticks and sausages and the time saving alone makes using the rolls worthwhile. I have ordered quart and pint packs several times and will continue to order as needed.

No matter what, these bags don't hold a vacuum for very long. I don't know why, but maybe they're just too thin? At first we thought it was an accident and we abused the sealant. But the sealing seems perfect. It must therefore be packages. We've started sealing at least two (2) times on each end, but they're still leaking. So if you're looking to seal something up for a long time, this might not be for you.

I have had a Weston Pro vacuum sealer for over 5 years. I have used many different bags and rolls in this machine. I just packed 6 liter bags of Char Sui Pork and none of them worked. Do not deflate the bag before sealing. I cut off the sealed end and tried each pack a second time with the same results. I have been purchasing FoodVacBags (pint, quart and gallon sizes) in small packs for many years and have always been satisfied. This pack of 200 liter sacks was crammed into too small a space in such a way that the sacks were irreversibly deformed: some ends were dented and the entire 200-pack was twisted. Neither a pack nor individual packets lie flat. While they can still be used, they are more difficult to store and harder to fill. I hope that was an isolated case.

I have used these bags with three different brands of food vacuum cleaners for many years. A year ago we chose the FoodSaver brand seal and I have had no problems with these bags. I personally think that some of the reviews about these bags (or other bags for that matter) are down to user error. I'm tired of throwing away burnt food in the freezer in a ziplock bag that was only meant to be used once, so I got it and vacuumed it from the back of the closet.
