Cutting down a tree is now EASIER AND SAFE!

Brilliant design! Should have bought a year ago. It's worth it even at full price, absolutely. We can chop logs for firewood if only one or two of us are working. This makes your work safer and easier. Really durable. Easy to assemble. Using a lumberjack is also very nice and we always have it on hand, but this Forest Master horse saw is AMAZING. All settlers need this. A nice bonus feature, folds down against a side shed wall for storage. Thank you for making such a great product that is…

Depends on your needs

The instructions were a little strange, but they served their purpose. The weapon is strong, balanced and not cheap at all. I got this from a lifetime of back problems and bending over (I'm 6ft 3") and sawing logs on the floor was tiring (18" and 20" bars). low cost, but if you handle wood like me it's actually more labor intensive to move a large log in place and then pick it up in the jaws before cutting. I've found I'm not using it for logs anymore, but instead for large diameter branches…

Easy to assemble (after learning the first one)

I wish I had more than one to build (because I became an expert after figuring out the first one). Having someone around to help would be nice. , well, useful since the parts need to be aligned. It took 90 minutes to assemble, but that's only because I had to drive to the hardware store to buy a size Allen wrench I didn't already have. The instructions were good and all parts were included (except for the Allen key required). It's well made and supports various tree trunks for easy cutting…

A great goat!

Whoever came up with this design must have spent a lot of time sawing a lot of wood. And I knew that after a really bad hurricane hit all of us on Cape Cod recently, I would be spending a lot of time cutting down fallen trees. So I sought help with a job at Revain. The goats I've used in the past seem to have gotten bad reviews. But the Lord of the Forest continued to look interesting - as if there could be anything better. So I tried. And I love him from the start. Easily loads everything I…

3 ½ ratings rather than four

The bad first: When I started building, the first screw I needed was missing and I couldn't easily replace it with my own. I called Olympia Tools, left a message on their website, emailed and didn't get a positive response that they would replace the missing screw, but after about a week and a half a package arrived with a replacement screw and a couple of extra screws to put on I didn't need either. . A post that it was on the way would be nice. The instructions could have been a bit more…
